Jonathan deserves re-election, Moro

Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, said that President Goodluck Jonathan deserves a second term in office.

Moro gave this indication recently at the headquarters of the Ministry in Abuja, when the Center for Leadership Network Initiative, led by its Coordinator, Nelson Ossaize honoured him with an ‘Award of Excellence’.

He said the president, through his transformation agenda has contributed immensely to the development of various sectors of the economy.

“For the first time in the history of Nigeria we have seen a President who introduced transformation agenda and is also committed to achieving it to the fullest.

“We have seen the transformation of railways, roads and other infrastructures in the country, including capacity development.

“The president is also committed to ending insurgency in the country and need our support to achieve that.

“I want to assure you therefore, that having come this far, I will not disappoint Nigerians. I will continue to be a serious advocate of the transformation agenda”.

Earlier, the Coordinator of the Network, said the minister was honoured due to his performance in the ministry.

He described Moro as a distinguished Nigerian who involved all Nigerians in his policies.

The Coordinator called on other public holders to stand out and contribute their quota to the development of the country.
