President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday inaugurated the 492 member National Conference amidst tight security provided by the combination of the nation’s security agencies.

Those who combined to provide a full proof security at the National Judicial Institute (NJI) venue of the Confab include men of the Department of State Security, Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Road Safety and the military.

Men of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services otherwise known as the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) were also at hand to complement the efforts of the Road Safety officers to ensure a seamless traffic around the area.

Men of the SSS frisked everyone, including the delegates, before allowing them into the venue of the meeting hall.

Soldiers who were ubiquitous also provided an atmosphere of orderliness even as some of them were hiding in the bushes around the venue of the event armed with guns to provide surveillance.

Officials of the Civil Defence and the Road Safety also worked together to make sure that cars were arranged at the park provided even as they provide adequate security for the vehicles so parked.
