From Matthew Aramunde, Lagos
President Goodluck Jonathan’s bid to remain in office after 2015 election may suffer a devastating blow if he refuses to refrain from comments that have made the “kingmakers” of Nigeria politics uncomfortable severally.
The General Overseer of Christ Holy Mountain House of Prayer for All People in Lagos, Apostle Sediq Moses made this revelation when his Church gave out aids in cash and materials to hundreds of less privileged persons drawn from across the metropolis at the church auditorium over the weekend.
His words: “It is irksome that the President is quite oblivious that majority of those who constitute his kitchen cabinets will eventually turn their backs on him at the very last moment and as a check to this unpleasant occurrence, he should keep his game plan closely to his chest and refrain from passing comments on Nigeria and other sensitive issues in a hurry.
Reminded that reports have it that millions of Nigerians have started endorsing Jonathan for re-election and that only recently, his party the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also declared him the sole candidate, Apostle Moses retorted that from what God revealed to him in a vision, the Presidents Achilles Heel will be the same members of his party that endorsed him, who in the real sense are far from being loyal to the President holistically.
“If he is not careful, there is a grand plan to pull the rug off his feet when he least expect” the clergyman, who is known for accurate predictions maintained.
Visibly touched by the spate of bloodletting that has sadly characterized the politics of Nigeria, the clergyman urged the political class to always have the fear of God at heart in the conduct of affairs stressing that every one low or high will be held accountable by God for whatever roles they played while on earth.
Over three hundred less privileged that includes widows and widowers received various kinds of gifts ranging from food items to clothing from the church.
