Jumia online stores have launched its new app on windows App for customers to get unlimited shopping experience in Nigeria. The App will accord customers with Window Phone Operating System access to over 200,000 items listed on Jumia.
Speaking about Jumia’s new technology innovation for the Windows phone, Jonathan Doerr, Jumia Nigeria’s managing director for Marketing & Sales said, “We are giving Nigerians the best shopping experience with technology innovation such as the new app for windows phone. This is to extend our relation to customers giving them the option to make Jumia their home with the app shopping through our major categories and getting the best price.”
Speaking on the development, Nick Imudia, managing director, Microsoft Mobile West Africa, said the Jumia app is one of the more interesting additions to the Lumia device.
“We are happy to partner with Jumia, the leading e-commerce company in Nigeria, to bring this on the Lumia device. This is one of our ways of ensuring that our customers get access to the tools they need on their Lumia devices. The app allows people to shop for any of the items available on the Jumia website right from their Lumia device anytime and anywhere,” he said. The app is available for free download on all Lumia range of devices with free shopping discount voucher for every user.
Olamide Amosu, offline marketing- public relations and communications, manager, Jumia said that, the Company is also giving one windows phone user the chance to win a Nokia Lumia phone when they download the new Jumia App.
