The Special Assistant to the Governor of Kaduna State on Climate Change, Yusuf Idris Amoke has been awarded as the most hardworking Special Assistant of the year to the Governor of Kaduna State Uba Sani.
Speaking to Peoples Daily Correspondent in Kaduna yesterday, Amoke, who is the founder of Green Climate Africa, noted that the recognition is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the tireless efforts put into ensuring the success of the administration.
According to him, it also reflects the unwavering commitment of the State Government to increasing public awareness about the climate crisis and equipping communities with the knowledge and tools to navigate its challenges effectively.
“I was deeply honored yesterday to receive a meritorious award from the Kaduna Social Media Connect as the Most Hardworking Special Assistant to the Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani.
“First and foremost, I wish to extend my profound gratitude to my Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for giving me the privilege to serve as the first-ever Climate Advisor to a Governor in the entire Northern Region of Nigeria.
“This unique opportunity has been instrumental in the recognition that led to my being voted as the most hardworking among more than 50 Special Assistants in the state.
“I dedicate this award to my schoolmates at Science School Kufena Zaria, my colleagues at Bayero University Kano, and the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) family.”
