The Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Barr. Magajji Danjuma, and the Chairman of Kagarko Local Government, Muhuyideen Abdullahi Umar, distributed palliatives to several communities in the Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State yesterday.
This initiative aimed to appreciate the unity and peaceful coexistence among the residents of the area.
Accompanied by respected traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other stakeholders, they visited Kabara, Kushe Koyi, Kushe Gudu, and Dogon Kurmi to deliver the palliative support.
The Deputy Speaker commended the communities for maintaining a peaceful environment, which has attracted development projects from federal, state, and local governments.
During his address, he emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, urging residents to reject any attempts to create disunity for selfish gains.
He assured them of the government’s commitment to their safety and security, highlighting that Governor Uba Sani is actively working to uphold peace in the state.
Honorable Muhuyideen A. Umar, Chairman of Kagarko Local Government Area, who also donated cash to the communities visited, expressed gratitude for the Deputy Speaker’s visit, noting that it reflects the government’s dedication to fostering peace and stability in the LGA.
On behalf of the palliative beneficiaries, John Musa from Kabara, Easter Musa from Koyi, and Alhaji Abubakar Umar conveyed their appreciation for the government’s initiatives to promote peace and commended the Deputy Speaker’s efforts in fostering unity and development.
The distribution of palliatives brought joy and happiness to the communities, and the Deputy Speaker pledged to visit additional areas, including Gurmi, to extend this gesture.
This event underscores the government’s commitment to peace and development in the Kagarko Local Government Area.
