The Emir of Argungu in Kebbi State, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Samaila Mohammed Mera has conferred the prestigious title of ‘Garkuwan Kabi’, Defense Minister of Argungu Emirate on the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kaduna Electric, Engineer Garba Haruna.
Speaking when he received a high-powered delegation of family members, friends and well-wishers of the new Garkuwan kabi who paid him a solidarity and ‘thank you’ visit in his Palace, the Emir described Engineer Haruna as “a respected son of the Emirate, a worthy ambassador and a courageous defender of the Emirate and its people, who has made the Emirate proud both at home and internationally.”
