Kaduna metropolis is to get ultra-modern abattoirs courtesy of an agreement between the state government and Funsho Acreage.
The Director Funsho Acreage,Mr. Habeeb Funsho disclosed this during facility tour of the two abattoirs yesterday.
According to him, the aim of the project is to put a facelift to the deplorable situation of the Kaduna abattoirs and to improve on the wellbeing of the Butchers and the general populace.
Habeeb Funsho disclosed that the project is expected to engulfed one billion naira.
He disclosed that the state government will provide facility and regulations for the project, while the monetary aspect of the project will be the responsibility of the company.
The Director General of livestock regulatory authority, Leo Nyam noted that the whole of livestock is a failed project in Kaduna and Nigeria, saying that value is not added to it.
