Kaduna Governor, Uba Sani commissions forensic lab to boost security

Governor Uba Sani has commissioned the all-important Kaduna State Forensic Laboratory and Training Centre, the first of its kind in Northern Nigeria to boost security in the state.

Components of the laboratory include four units out of the six, namely: Crime Scene Unit, Ballistic Unit, Question Document Examination & Fingerprints Capture Unit, and Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) Unit.

Officials of the state government said Uba Sani’s administration is committed to supporting security forces and criminal justice system in Kaduna State through the provision of modern scientific equipment, communication gadgets, and patrol vehicles.

The commissioning ceremony was part of the activities to mark the Governor’s first year in office.
