Nine days to the forthcoming election in Kaduna state, the People of Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been urged to maintain peace and order and shun any act of violence during the forth-coming Local Government elections.
The chief of Sanga, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi Karma asserted this when he received the Deputy Governor of Kaduna state, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, who led other top hierarchy of the All Progress Congress in the local government to the Royal Fathers on a Courtesy visit and formal presentation of party flag bearers in the LG election.
The traditional royal advised youths against any form of electoral and political violence, adding that they should not allow themselves to be used by politicians for selfish interests.
He further cautioned the youths and political stakeholders to remember the peace accord signed by them in the presence of security agencies and brought to him.
According to him, Sanga people are peaceful and law-abiding, adding that he would not accept a situation where the youths would allow politicians to use them to turn his domain into a battleground for their selfish reasons.
He, therefore, charged them to abide by the content of the peace agreement they signed in the presence of security agencies.
Speaking about the chairmanship candidate of the APC, Hon. Anto Usman His Royal Highness said, there’s no hiding place for the golden fish, because the candidate has touched the lives of the people of the community in several ways, and this is an opportunity for the people to reciprocate by electing him into office to do more.
