From: Femi Oyelola in Kaduna

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kaduna State has strongly denied claims made by Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai that the party’s structure in the state has collapsed and merged into the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition.
A press release by the State Chairman, Adamu Idris, said the party described El-Rufai’s statement as “spurious and false.”
The SDP emphasized that El-Rufai’s brief tenure in the party was marked by disruption and infighting.
“Since his departure, the party has reportedly experienced a restoration of order and unity”.
The SDP assured the public that its structures remain strong in Kaduna State and that the party is committed to repositioning itself as a credible opposition force. The party reiterated its dedication to promoting the true interests of Nigeria and rejected any attempts by El-Rufai to undermine its unity and purpose.
