Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kaduna South Federal Constituency have expressed strong support for Hon. Emmanuel Khoza as he prepares for the 2027 House of Representatives race, following his successful screening.

The demonstration of backing occurred during a stakeholders’ meeting held in Kaduna today, where party leaders, women and youth groups, traditional and religious leaders, and supporters assembled to thank Khoza for his dedication to grassroots mobilization.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Emmanuel Khoza expressed gratitude to God for the successful screening, calling it a collective victory made possible by the prayers, encouragement, and faith of his supporters. He stated that the turnout at the meeting reflected the shared commitment of the people toward Kaduna South’s future.

Khoza thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his strong leadership and ongoing support for the APC nationwide, noting that the President’s dedication to party unity and national progress continues to motivate members at the grassroots level. He also praised Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for his inclusive governance and developmental achievements, which he said have strengthened the party in the state.

“This journey has never been about me alone. It is about our shared goal of seeing Kaduna South play its rightful role in national affairs, attract development, and ensure our people’s voices are heard clearly in the House of Representatives,” Khoza said.

He promised to remain accessible, accountable, and focused on issues that directly improve the lives of farmers, traders, students, civil servants, and artisans across the constituency. Khoza urged members to maintain the unity and discipline that brought the party this far and to build on the foundation laid by national and state leaders.

During an interview at the event, Khoza explained that the gathering was organized to honor Governor Uba Sani and reaffirm support for both the governor and President Tinubu. He said his decision to run was driven by calls from his community, where he has served as Vice Chairman, due to his proven record of service.

“My people came to me. I was not even present when they conducted the election, but they chose me because they believe in my performance. I am nice to everybody, and I don’t have cause to hurt anyone. I am going to the House of Representatives for us, not for me,” he said.

Khoza assured constituents that his representation would bring tangible change, emphasizing that he keeps his word. “If I said yes, it’s yes; no is no. People know me with this. By the grace of God, if they send me there, they will not regret it,” he added.

The Secretary of the campaign organization, Ahmed Tijjani Inuwa, described Khoza as a capable and experienced leader with over 25 years in public service and six years in politics. He said Khoza has consistently supported youth, women, and vulnerable groups and can bridge religious and ethnic divides in Kaduna South.

Inuwa stated that the event was organized to showcase Khoza’s readiness to contest against the current representative for Kaduna South Federal Constituency. He revealed that 455 delegates from the 13 wards in the constituency attended the meeting to show their support.

He encouraged the people of Kaduna South to back Khoza as the party’s candidate in the upcoming primaries, highlighting his focus on empowering youth and women, as well as on promoting unity and peaceful coexistence in the constituency.
