Kaduna takes violence against children campaign to traditional rulers

Kaduna State Government on will tomorrow visit the Emir of Zazzau’s Palace in Zaria to discuss about violence against children in the state.
State Commissioner for Woman Affairs and Social Development hajiya Hafsat Baba disclosed this during an event to celebrate violence against children day in the state.
According to her, the ministry will also take the campaign to all the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
“ We need to enlighten our society on the need to protect the children. This is why on Thursday we intend to take the violence against children campaign to the palace of the Emir of Zazzau Dr Shehu Idris.
“Our plan is to also takes the campaign across the 23 local government areas of the state. We have to protect the children in this state,” he said.
The Commissioner also added that the children need to be protected and given quality education as leaders of tomorrow.
The theme of this year children day is “Take over where children were allowed to take over mantle of leadership in the country.”
