After the tremendous response to Queen in India both critically and at the box office came the news that the film’s makers have given the go-ahead for the film to be remade in other languages.
It’s understandable that the film is going to be remade in Telugu and Tamil. What took even the producers’ by surprise was when a potential producer wanted to redo the KanganaRanaut starrer in Chinese.
A few makers showed interest in acquiring the remake rights of the film after it was screened at the Busan international Film Festival.
After month-long negotiations, the Indian producers have agreed to sell the remake rights for Tamil, Telugu and Chinese. It has been learnt that director VikasBahl will be creatively involved with the Tamil, Telugu and Chinese version of the film.
