Kano governor condoles with Water Resources Commissioner, Makoda, over father’s death

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has condoled with the State Commissioner of Water Resources, Alhaji Ali Makoda over the death of his father, Alhaji Bukar Makoda who died yesterday after a protracted illness.
In a condolence message issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor described the death of Alhaji Bukar Makoda as collosal, not only to his family, but to the state, the nation and entire Muslim ummah.
He added that, Alhaji Bukar Makoda was a successful businessman, a reverred Islamic scholar who spent most of his lifetime in donating to philanthropy activities and assisting the poor and the needy in the society.
Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf maintained that as a respected leader not only to his family but to the larger community, he impacted positively on the lives of many and left indelible marks that will be remembered forever.
The Governor on behalf of the Government and people of Kano State, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest, may Jannatul Firdausi be his final abode, and the fortitude and patience for his family to bear the irreparable loss.
