Kano Governor Inaugurates Committee to Draft 2027 Campaign Blueprint
Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has inaugurated a 17-member committee to draft his 2027 campaign blueprint.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Friday.
The committee will work under the close supervision of Governor Yusuf and his Deputy, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo.
The committee has Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba as chairman of the committee, with Dr. Yusuf Ya’u Gambo, Executive Chairman, Strategic Governance and Policy Coordination, as Secretary.
Other members include Dr. Ibrahim Musa, Mallam Haladu Muhammad, Hon. Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Muhammad Nazir Halliru, Nana Asma’u Jibrin, and Dr. Bashir Abdu Muzakkar.
The rest are Dr. Farouk Kurawa, Kabiru Sani Yakubu, Dr. Yusuf Ya’u Gambo, Dr. Abdulhadi Zubairu Chula, Engr. Yesmin Mukhtar, Dr. Halima Umar Sani, Dr. Kabiru Shehu, Barr. Musa Lawan Abdullahi, Dr. Nasiru Alasan Kabo, and Dr. Kabiru Ibrahim Getso.
The committee is mandated to review the implementation of the 2023 campaign blueprint, identify areas yet to be fully implemented and incorporate them into Blueprint 2.0.
It will also articulate Governor Yusuf’s priorities and strategic vision for a second term from 2027 to 2031.
The committee is further expected to engage stakeholders from both state and non-state sectors to generate innovative ideas and policy recommendations that will produce a comprehensive, inclusive and people-driven blueprint capable of consolidating the gains of the present administration and accelerating Kano State’s development.
