Kano NDC governorship candidate meets social media influencers

 

The Kano State governorship candidate of the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has met with social media influencesers in Kano as part of preparations for mass mobilisation of the electorate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

The meeting brought together 132 Kwankwasiyya social media representatives, including content creators and influencers active on Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

 

The governorship candidate praised them for making the movement increasing visibility and engaging across digital platforms.

 

Comrade Gwarzo said the team has been playing vital role in promoting the movement’s activities, achievements, and delivering message to a broader audience.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, Comrade Gwarzo expressed gratitude for the group’s commitment and professionalism.

 

“We have so much respect for the Kwankwasiyya social media team, and they are making us proud,” he said.

 

Gwarzo also mentioned that the movement’s national leader and NDC vice presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has praised the team’s performance and dedication.

 

“Our national leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is very happy with you and proud of your performance,” he said.

 

The NDC candidate pledged to prioritise capacity building for members of the social media team, emphasising the importance of training and skills development in the rapidly changing digital communication landscape.

“We believe in training and retraining. We will ensure that training opportunities are provided to you, including modern technological tools and techniques that will enhance your performance,” Gwarzo said.

 

He assured the team of support and cooperation as they work to strengthen public engagement and broaden the movement’s reach.

 

Comrade Gwarzo also called on members to remain focused, professional, and committed to promoting the movement’s message while upholding high ethical standards online.
