Katsina APC’s only woman aspirant wins Reps primary
The Special Assistant on Girl Child Education and Development to Katsina State Governor, Hajiya Jamila Abdu Mani, has secured 24,989 votes to emerge as the All Progressives Congress candidate for Mani/Bindawa Federal Constituency.
During the primary election held on Saturday, Jamila defeated her rival in the contest, Ahmed Saleh Jino, who received 1,256 votes in the exercise.
The APC is holding its House of Representatives primary elections across various states ahead of the 2027 general elections.
