The Katsina House of Assembly has screened Malik Anas, former Accountant-General, for confirmation as a Commissioner.
The Assembly screened the nominee during its plenary in Katsina presided over by the Speakers Nasir Yahaya-Daura.
The Parliament also screened Abdullahi Gagare as the Chairman of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
Immediately after Mr Anas gave his brief background, the lawmaker representing the Musawa constituency, Lawal Yaro, said his nomination came at the right time.
The lawmaker from the same local government area as the nominee explained that Governor Dikko Radda has made a deserving appointment.
