Kazaure Emirates distributes food items worth N33m

As part of effort to reduce the current hardship, Kazaure Emirate of Jigawa state has distributed food items worth over N33 million to less privileges people across the Emirate.
Speaking during the distribution exercise in Roni local government of the Emirate Alhaji Bala Muhammad said, the food items were sourced from the farmers in form of Zakkat.
He said, farmers in the area contribute the food items out of their Zakkat and gave to the committee for onward distribution to the appropriate persons.
Alhaji Bala added that, the committee will continue to collect Zakkat from well to do persons and give it to needy.
