The Kebbi State Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) governorship candidate, Mustaph Hassan Yauri, has withdrawn his ambition, urging his supporters to join APC in the state.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the closed door meeting with the INEC officials yesterday at the INEC office in Birnin Kebbi, the State capital, Yauri, who said that his withdrawal was based on the consultation with the stakeholders from the state and performance recorded by the APC government.
“I decided to join APC because of the achievements the present administration has recorded in the state and also President Muhammadu Buhari, such as the construction of roads from Jega, Koko,Yauri and Kotangora, while Atiku Bagudu has also constructed Yauri township road, empowering youth through agricultural sectors”, he added.
He then urged all his party supporters to join APC and support the administration in the state in order to ensure the effective and efficiency service delivery to the electorates.
