Kebbi gov’s wife seeks support for vulnerable persons in Nigeria

The Wife of the Kebbi State Governor Hajiya Aisha Bagudu has called on the NGOs, donor agencies and philanthropist to complements governments effort in supporting the vulnerable people in the country.
She made this call weekend during an interactive discussion with journalists held in Government House Birnin Kebbi adding that people with disabilities are also human beings and they need supports from every individuals.
Hajiya Aisha Bagudu who commended the Kebbi State Ministry of Women Affairs for collaborating with the MALLIPA Foundation in reducing the Alimajari street begging and making lives meaningful for them.
“MALLIPA is a non Governmental Organization where the headquarter has been moved to Kebbi State from Abuja in order to empowered the less privilege at the rural areas, MALLIPA has rescued many disabled people by constructing houses, enrolled them in both western and Arabic education, engaged them on Tailoring, waving and other skills acquisitions”she added.
Her excellence, who further assured the people of Kebbi State that irrespective of religion and ethnicity, Kebbi State Government his ready and willing to continue to collaborate with other donor agencies for empowering the vulnerable people and ensure that poverty as been taking away from people in the societies.
“we established more Nomadic education in most of the Rugga Fulani’s across the four emirates, we visited them and constructed schools, provide them with portable water and roads” she said.
