Kebbi State Government, yesterday inaugurated Committee for the distribution and sales of fertilizers and other inputs for the 2020 wet season.
Inaugurating the committee on behalf of the state Government, the Chief of Staff, to the Kebbi State Government Alhaji Suleiman Mohammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi) said the setting up of the committee was to ensure that farmers in the state get the commodities early so as to alleviate their suffering.
He added that the early action taken by the state government was for the state to maintain its unparalleled lead in the country in terms of agriculture.
He added that the farmers would also be given all the needed inputs like improved seedlings, pesticides and insecticides among others.
