The Chairman Sardauna Gwandu Education Foundation, Alhaji Yusuf Haruna Rushid has purchased 500 JAMB forms worth over 1million naira for students of the less privilege across the State.
Addressing newsmen yesterday at the Junju Government Day Secondary Birnin Kebbi, he said that the gesture is to complement the parents and government effort in promoting child education.
Rashid who is the Special Assistant political to the Kebbi State Governor said that last year he gave 5,000 naira each to the graduate of the secondary school who wants to be engaged in petty trade.
The Foundation which aims to assist the less privileges has trained youth and girl on different skills, urged them to utilize the money judiciously.
Rashid called on the all stakeholders in the State to complement government effort and promote the education system in the state.
Responding, one of the female students, Aisha Ibrahim thanked the Foundation for assisting her parents, assuring him of using the money for the purpose it was met for.
