The Kefas, Tinubu 2027 Support Network has inaugurated its state secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba State, and received two operational campaign buses to support its mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The State Coordinator and Convener of the network, Hon. Justin Aondoseer Tyopuusu, disclosed this on Friday during the unveiling of the organisation’s office pavilion in Jalingo.
Tyopuusu said the group was established by friends and concerned citizens who believe that the performance of Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, warrants his re-election for a second term.
He added that the network also supports the continuation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration beyond 2027.
According to him, the organisation is seeking additional sponsors to expand its activities across Taraba State’s 16 local government areas.
He said the group’s objective was to contribute to the development of the state by mobilising support, gathering feedback from residents and creating awareness about government policies and programmes.
> “We cannot all sit at the fence and expect him to win in 2027. We all need to work. This is part of our effort to reach out to as many people as possible, gather feedback, track development, and educate people about the policies and programmes of the governor and why he deserves a second term,” he said.
Tyopuusu said members of the network were particularly encouraged by what he described as the governor’s focus on youth development and opportunities.
He said the group believed that continued investment in young people would contribute to the long-term development of Taraba State.
The coordinator also commended Arch. Benjamin Gani for training members of the network and donating the office pavilion and two campaign buses to support its activities.
He disclosed that the network had established an outpost in Wukari to coordinate activities in the Southern Senatorial District, while the Jalingo secretariat would oversee operations in the Central and Northern Senatorial Districts.
Government Commends Support Group
Responding on behalf of Governor Kefas, the Special Adviser on Political Matters, Prof. Jesiah Sani Kente, expressed appreciation to Gani and Tyopuusu for their contributions to the initiative.
Kente said the inauguration of the secretariat and presentation of the vehicles demonstrated the confidence of the group in the administration’s policies and programmes.
He said the support would strengthen efforts to promote unity, development and good governance in Taraba State.
The governor’s aide also urged residents to remain peaceful and law-abiding as the administration continues to implement its development agenda.
