The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested one Abdullahi Danladi a dismissed Marshal Security Army officer who served with 23 Armor Brigade Yola in Adamawa State with three others for criminal conspiracy, in-personation, army robbery and kidnapping.
Addressing newsmen yesterday at the police headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Garba Muhammad Danjuma said that the robbing was done in Arugungu local government where the four suspects were arrested at Abuja.
He explained further that among the suspects are one Chibuzo Aneffun of Masaka town in Nasarawa State and other gang connived with Mr. Peter Patrick of Yardole in Arugungu local government of kebbi State and killed Mrs. Ifueoma Oliniya who live in Gobirawa area in Arugungu town with dangerous weapon, tide her with rope and carted away her Toyota Camry vehicle with registration number ABJ 541 EQ and two handset.
The CP who added that all the suspects were arrested in Abuja and they have confess to the crime while all will be charged to court.
Fielding questions from newsmen, the leader of the criminals team, Mr. Chibuzo Aneffun said that he always get the information for the attacks, promised not to do robbery again.
Also the dismissed army officer said that he was dismissed 2019 this year after absconded from duty, “am 37 years old, I was a signer officer in Armor Brigade Barrack in Yola, I only stole one car since I ventured into this criminal act, I promise not to do it again, I from Eda an iIgala man from Kogi State, I based in Abuja now work with one private security firm” he added.
