The House of Representatives on Tuesday asked the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigerian Army and the Department of State Services to
collaborate and ensure that the culprits involved in the heinous crimes of kidnapping and killings in Makarfi-Kudan Federal Constituency of Kaduna State are brought to book.
The House equally mandated it’s Committees on Police and Army (when constituted) to ensure compliance.
The House resolutions followed the adoption of a motion on the “Need to Stop the Kidnappings and Killings in Danguzuri, Gimi, Guibi, Doka, Randa, and Zage Zagi Communities in Makarfi-Kudan Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, moved by
Hon. Umar Shehu Ajilo.
Presenting the motion the Lawmaker said “ Notes that Section 33 and 41 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as
amended) provides that every person has the right to life and no one shall be deprived intentionally of his or her life.
