Great Leader and founding father of socialist Korea, Comrade KIM IL SUNG has been described as the great master of independent politics by Jon Tong Chol, Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Amb. Jon who made this known Monday at the reception to celebrate the 113th birth anniversary of the Great Leader, Comrade KIM IL SUNG in Abuja said this year marks the 113th anniversary of the eternal and benevolent fatherly leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG.
According to Jon, “15th of April, this year marks the 113th anniversary of the eternal and benevolent fatherly leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG.
“Our entire nation and the friends across the world are celebrating the significant occasion in grandeur.
“The great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG is the founding father of socialist Korea and a great master of independent politics, who was worth special mention in the world history of politics.
“He liberated Korea after waging anti-Japanese armed struggle and established the people’s country. He defeated the imperialist aggressors and safeguarded national sovereignty and dignity with credit. And he led to victory the post-war rehabilitation, socialist revolution and the several stages of socialist construction.
“Thus, he set a world’s example in the struggle for accomplishing the cause of independence of the popular masses.
“The great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG, upholding the banner of independence, rendered immortal services to the times and history.
“Having embarked on the road of struggle for the country and people in his early teens, he authored the Juche idea, the gist of which is that man is the master of his own destiny and has the strength with which to carve out his destiny.
“He was the closest comrade and dearest friend of all the revolutionaries and progressive peoples across the world.
“In his lifetime, he met over 70 000 foreigners including heads of the party, state and government of 136 countries and discussed on the issues arising in carrying out the revolution and construction in an independent manner and building a new independent world.
“He also gave unstinted support and assistance to the peoples of the countries who met with difficulties in their building of a new society and suffered from the invasion and intervention of the imperialists.
“The great leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG who devoted his whole life to pioneer the independent era, victoriously advancing the cause of global independence, will be forever as the eternal sun of Juche in the hearts of the world people aspiring after independence.
“His noble cause of building a thriving socialist country is now being carried forward with credit.
“Our people will achieve the lifetime instructions of Comrade KIM IL SUNG without an inch of deflection, firmly united around the respected Comrade KIM JONG UN, President of State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
“I would like to thank the organizers and the participants gathered here and wish you all greater success in your future endeavors.
“On that positive note, allow me to pay the highest tribute to the Great Leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG and the Great Leader Comrade KIM JONG IL.
“Allow me to propose a toast to the good health of His Excellency BOLA AHMED TINUBU, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
“To the good health of the Respected Comrade KIM JONG UN, the President of State Affairs of DPRK, To the good health of our dear Nigerian friends present here” he said.
