The Onyize of Ebira land, Dr Ramatu Aliyu has congratulated the winner of the just concluded Kogi State governorship election, Usman Ododo.
Dr Aliyu, in a congratulatory message on Monday, captioned “Unity in Diversity: For a Progressive Kogi”, urged the governor-elect to display humility while discharging his duties.
She said, “Dear Kogites, though tribe and tongue may differ, in unity we must stand to take our beloved state higher.
“Profound Congratulations to Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo, on this historic victory in the Kogi governorship election. As the flag bearer of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), your victory has shown that Kogi State remains aligned with the RENEWED HOPE mandate.
“Display the humility and magnanimity you embody to close ranks across seeming divides. I have no doubt that you appreciate the task before you, and I pray The Almighty equips you with the wisdom to discharge same equitably as you move our people and state forward in one accord.”
