Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bala Muhammed, has said that the Introduction of Konica Minolta Digital print solution has contributed immensely to the socio economic development of the nation.

Bala gave this indication yesterday in Abuja while declaring open the 2014 Konica Minolta Digital Printing Solution Exhibition.

Represented by Managing Director, Abuja Technology Village Company, Hauwa yabani, the minister said the whole event was in line with the President’s idea of attracting direct foreign investment in to the country.

He said Konica press has improved office documentation process and print production of various commercial print products which has helped in reducing capital flight and promote the establishment of cottage printing shops all over the country, thereby reducing unemployment.

Bala called on all stakeholders to partner with the government as it strives to create a business friendly climate for foreign investors.

Earlier, the Senior Area Manager, Konica Minolta, Mark Oldfield said the printing press was dedicated to create employment and highly equip printing machine in the Nigerian market and to also train Nigerians on the use.
