The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Yahaya Aliyu Sheda, has commended the FCT minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike for carrying out developmental projects in Kwali as well as other Area Councils in the territory.
Aliyu Sheda, who gave the commendation in an interview with newsmen on the occasion of get-together with friends, political associates and youths after the three days Eid-el-fitr celebration on Friday in Sheda, appreciating the minister for the good work he was doing in Kwali.
He lamented that in Kwali in particular they have witnessed 90% of development in the area of ongoing roads construction in Kwali by the FCT Minister.
He then expressed with confident that the minister was playing a role of indigeneship in the FCT, while thanking him for focusing on the development of the Area Councils.
On his Sallah’s message to the residents of Kwali, Aliyu Sheda called on the people in the area to always embrace peace, saying that no community or country could develop in the atmosphere of rancor and acrimony.
He, therefore, advised every Nigerian to deem it fit to contribute his quota towards the progress of his community or nation at all times, and urged the youths to desist from drug abuse.
This, according to him, the youths should be responsible so that they will become the leaders of this country tomorrow.
When asked whether he would contest for the chairmanship position in Kwali in the future, the Kwali APC boss said if his followers asked him to contest, he would not hesitate to do so.
