Good Governance Africa (GGA), a research and advocacy organisation, will hold a high-level dialogue on 17 April in Lagos to discuss reforms in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, aiming to foster good governance and sustainable development in Africa’s largest economy.

The event will feature the public presentation of a survey titled Investor Perceptions of Nigeria’s Regulatory and Policy Reforms in the Oil and Gas Sector.

The survey assesses investor sentiment on key reforms, including the Petroleum Industry Act and recent Presidential Executive Orders addressing fiscal incentives, local content, and streamlined regulatory approvals.

Dr Ola Bello, GGA-Nigeria’s Executive Director, said the survey highlights progress under President Bola Tinubu’s energy reform agenda while examining views from operators, investors, and professionals in finance, legal, regulatory, and consulting sectors.
