Lawmakers urge FG to extend palliative support to Kaduna State

Members of kaduna State House of Assembly has called on the Federal Government to extend its palliative support to the state being a window to the north, just like Lagos and others so as to complement its effort in in fighting the COVID-19 Pendemic.
The speaker of the House RT HON Yusuf Zailani made the request in a statement made available to media in kaduna yesterday.
The Lawmakers expressed their delight in the boldness of the Governor of the State Mallam Nasir El Rufai in confessing to the positive result of the test he took on the pandemic, Covid 19..
“The house however, appreciates his efforts for being proactive in coming up wiylth measures and guidelines in ensuring that all citizens of the state remain safe from the pandemic.
“Therefore, the entire assembly appreciates his effort in setting up a team the Emergency Operation Center, Rapid Response Team, Security/Compliance and Food Distribution across some part of the State under lockdown which is commencing soon, making sure that the state is under control and check.
“The Kaduna State House of Assembly is calling on the federal government to extend its palliative support to the state being a window to the north, just like Lagos and others so as to complement its effort in this trying period.
“The lawmakers are also assured the Deputy Governor of the State, Hajiya Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe of their support to her and the team in fighting this pandemic and ensuring Kaduna remains safe and secured from the Covid 19”
