Renowned Nigerian talent agent and CEO of Sucre House of Entertainment, Olatunji Emmanuel, has revealed that the biggest deal-breaker in working with any talent is laziness and a lack of discipline — regardless of their potential.

Widely known for spearheading one of the top talent agencies in the country, Sucre, as he’s popularly called, has successfully managed endorsement deals for major brands across the continent. His agency has brokered partnerships with leading companies like Bet9ja, securing campaigns with influencers such as Yhemolee, Pocolee, and Sheggz, among others.

Sucre House of Entertainment also manages beauty ambassadors for skincare brand Cosmo — with talents like Nini, BamBam, and Uche on board — and handles multiple collaborations with major tech brands like Tecno and Infinix.

Speaking on what sets his agency apart, Sucre said: “We’re not just about hype; we’re finishers. We take projects from ideation to execution and ensure results. But the key is working with talent that’s unique and committed. I have a solid team behind me — we brainstorm, plan long-term strategies, and execute meticulously. But the talent must bring drive and work ethic to the table.”

The Sucre House boss emphasized that talent alone isn’t enough, as he shared the traits that disqualify potential collaborators: “Laziness and indiscipline are a no for me.
