The ward head of Gaduji village Malam Gidado Dikko in Kirfi local Government Area have been suspended for alleged brewing violence in his area and insurbodination.
The chairman care-taker committee, Kirfi Local Government, Alhaji Garba Sabo Bara disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Bauchi, at the weekend, saying that Kirfi local government council has resolved to suspend the ward head of Gaduji Mal. Gidado Dikko for his disloyalty to the constituted authority and his attempt to cause violence in the area.
Bara said the suspension is with immediate effect until when peace has finally returns to the area.
According to him, “We are in trying times; with a lot of security challenges, peace should be our watch word especially if you are leader in any form
Garba Sabo Bara said, “as a traditional leader is expected of you to bring sanity in the area not to cause more trouble because you are the father of all the citizens of the area and you should be loyal to the authorities”
Sabo said, the local government has directed Mallam Dajjin Yabo to oversee the village area.
He called on people of the village to exercise patients as the action was aim to create an enabled environment in the area.
Garba Sabo warned traditional rulers in the local government area to desist from anything that can cause violence among their subjects.
