LG Electronics has been honored as the 2023 Most Outstanding Electronics Supporting Partner in Gaming in Nigeria by Gameitnaija, recognizing its remarkable contribution to esports in the country.
Mr. Paul Mba, Marketing Manager of LG Electronics Nigeria, expressed gratitude upon receiving the award in Calabar, Cross River State.
He highlighted LG’s innovation in OLED TV technology, proven to be the optimal choice for gaming, movies, and sports. Mba emphasized the OLED TV’s GSYNC and Freesync compatibility, ensuring a seamless gaming experience with a 1-millisecond response time and eliminating image tearing and blurs.
With self-lit pixels, LG’s OLED TVs boast an infinite contrast ratio, delivering deeper blacks by turning off pixels in dark scenes. Mba affirmed LG’s commitment to providing an immersive gaming and entertainment experience.
In a remarkable achievement, LG Electronics received 33 Innovation Awards at CES 2024 for technological and design excellence across Home Appliance, Home Entertainment, and B2B categories.
“This includes two prestigious Best of Innovation Awards for LG OLED TVs. The winning streak spans video displays, content, and OLED TVs, with LG’s OLED TV securing CES Innovation Awards for 12 consecutive years.
“LG’s proprietary smart TV platform, webOS, was also acknowledged for its innovative features. LG’s next-generation home appliances, such as the LG StanbyMe Go and LG Signature Washer-Dryer, received accolades in various categories.”
Presented annually by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the CES Innovation Award program recognizes innovative consumer products and services. LG, as the leader in OLED TVs, continues to refine its premium TV innovation, offering a diverse lineup from 42 to 97 inches, celebrated globally for vibrant colors, deep blacks, and infinite contrast.
LG’s CES 2024 Innovation Award recipients include products from Home Entertainment, Home Appliances, and Business Solutions, ranging from LG Soundbars and XBOOM Portable Speakers to LG UltraGear Gaming Monitors and gram Laptops.
