LG Electronics has unveiled a range of artificial intelligence-powered home solutions designed specifically for the Middle East and Africa, as it returned with its flagship InnoFest after seven years.
The products were showcased at LG InnoFest 2026 MEA, held in Abu Dhabi between February 3 and 5, with a strong focus on regional lifestyles, energy efficiency and smart living.
The exhibition, themed Innovation, Forward Together, brought together partners and the media, reinforcing LG’s long-term commitment to the MEA market.
In the clothing care segment, LG introduced next-generation laundry solutions powered by its proprietary AI Core-Tech, offering larger capacities and smarter washing and drying performance.
Leading the lineup is the 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo, an all-in-one washer-dryer touted as having the world’s largest capacity, alongside expanded WashTower options to suit different home sizes.
LG also unveiled a new 27-inch WashCombo aimed at large households, featuring high-capacity washing and drying supported by energy-efficient DUAL Inverter HeatPump technology.
Beyond residential use, the company presented app- and API-based commercial laundry solutions, allowing operators to remotely monitor and manage operations.
In the kitchen category, LG showcased refrigerators and cooking appliances built around its “Fit & Max” concept, blending built-in aesthetics with AI-driven performance.
Highlights included the InstaView French Door refrigerator with Zero Clearance hinge technology and AI Fresh cooling, as well as a redesigned SolarDOM microwave oven with smart controls and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The firm also rolled out upgraded dishwashers featuring QuadWash Pro and AI SenseClean technologies, cutting wash-and-dry cycles to under an hour.
For premium homes, LG introduced a built-in kitchen collection optimised for MEA preferences, offering larger capacities and minimalist designs.
The total cleaning segment featured AI-powered vacuums and a robot vacuum capable of steam mopping at high temperatures.
Speaking at the event, the President of LG West Africa, Hyoung Sub Ji, said the company remained focused on delivering locally optimised solutions that improve daily life across the region.
According to GfK data, LG ranks as the leading refrigerator brand across key Middle East and African markets, a position it hopes to strengthen with its latest innovations.
