Liverpool’s hopes of playing out the remainder of their Premier League campaign have been handed a boost after Serie A teams agreed their season should be completed.
The Premier League has been suspended since March 13 due to the coronavirus outbreak, but clubs are committed to resuming the season once it is safe to do so.
Liverpool are currently 25 points clear at the top of the table and need just two wins from their remaining nine games to be crowned Premier League champions for the first time in in 30 years.
