Livestock: Niger Govt flags off free vaccination exercise

The Niger State Government has partnered with Maizube Farms in furtherance of effort towards actualization of the State’s Livestock Transformation Agenda.
The Commissioner of Livestock and Fishery, Alhaji Nuhu Dukku and his team were received by the Managing Director of the farm, Mustapha Abdulsalam during a familiarisation visit shortly after which they were conducted round different sections of the farm including Dairy Processing Unit, Cow Sheds, Feed Centre, sick bay among others.
Dukku pointed out that the vision of the State Government under the leadership of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello is to make Niger State Nigeria’s new Livestock hub, stressing that the Livestock and Fisheries sector harbour opportunities for serious investors to grab.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary described Maizube Farms as a reputable Firm pointing out that the State Government was already in partnership with no fewer than six companies who are presently investing in Livestock and Fisheries particularly at the famous Bobi Grazing Reserve among other reserves in the State.
