A new Head Coach Baba Ganaru has been appointed for Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi
Coach Baba Ganaru has coached several Nigerian Professional Football Clubs including Kano Pillars, ElKanemi of Maiduguri, Yobe Desert Stars and Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.
A statement signed by Media Director of Lobi Stars Mr. Uja Emmanuel and made available to People said Coach Baba Gana has since assumed duty ahead of the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL, revised fixture which Lobi is scheduled to host Rangers International Football Club of Enugu at Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, Benue state capital.
He however added that Coach Ganaru is already monitoring training for now, until next week when he will fully takes charge .
“Unlike in the past, the Vice chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Mr. Dominic Iorfa shall unveil the new Head Coach before members of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, supporters of the club as well as football stakeholders in Benue state inside the main bowl of Aper Aku Stadium Makurdi, next week”, Uja said.
It could be recalled that the club recently sacked its Technical Eddy Doumbraye as well as all management staff including the Vice Chairman Tama Aondofa for poor performance.
