The Plateau state wing of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has condemned alleged series of gruesome attacks on its members that claimed several lives and inflicted serious injuries on 11 others on July, 28th 2021, by suspected Irigwe militias in Bassa Local Government Area of the state.
The MACBAN, in a statement signed by its state chairman, Nura Abdullahi described the attacks as a devilish attempt to initiate tribal war that meant to harmed the peaceful co-existence established by the Lalong led administration, emphasising that the law must take it course on the culprits.
The association enjoined security agencies and the Plateau state Government to ensure that such despicable acts did not repeat itself.
While commiserating the families of those who loss their lives to the callous incidents, the sociocultural body has admonished calm among its members, empathizing the surviving victims who sustained various degrees of injuries, the statement reads.
