Millennium Africa Global Initiative (MAGI), has trained about 100 youths on various skills.
The NGO said the training was aimed at making them to be self employed in different skills.
The Board Chairman of MAGI, Hajiya Jumai Idris Muhammad while speaking at the graduation ceremony in Minna, said that the training was to redirect the values of the youths toward self development.
She explained that the training became necessary for the youths and women because government can not provide job opportunity for the teaming youths, hence the demand for skills acquisition to be self employed.
The National Coordinator of MAGI, Amb. Marshal Okoro advised the trainees to make best use of the skills learnt to improve their livelihood and called on the state government to assist the participants with soft loans to start small businesses.
