The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aminu Maigari who was sacked from office immediately after the Super Eagles crashed out of the 2014 World cup by a Jos High court has been restated.
The earlier judgement was vacated by Justice L.P. Lot of the High Court of Jos, Plateau state very late on Wednesday.
To this end, Nigeria has averted a major ban by the World Football Governing Body, FIFA which had given 17th July as deadline for the case to be vacated.
With this ban averted, it now remains to be seen whether Aminu Maigari and his board would enjoy the support of the Nigeria Government who seem to be behind the ploy to remove him from office.
