Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced the appointment of more special advisers to work with him.
Makinde announced that he has appointed Morohunkola Thomas as Special Adviser on socio-economic matters.
Thomas is a lawyer who has previously served the state as commissioner for Education, Information, and Youth and Sports, among others, at different times.
Makinde made this disclosure on Tuesday.
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, the governor also announced that he has appointed Ayansiju Lawal as Special Adviser on Establishment and Training.
The governor also announced the appointment of Temitope Oladimeji as director general of the Abuja and Lagos liaison offices of the state.
Makinde, in the statement made available to journalists yesterday, charged the new appointees to see their appointments as a call to service.
He also advised them to discharge their duties with dedication and loyalty to the state.
The appointments have immediate effect.
