Manchester City star, De Bruyne out for six weeks

Date:

Manchester City have been handed a huge injury blow with midfielder Kevin De Bruyne set to be on the sidelines for 6weeks with a hamstring tear.
De Bruyne picked a small hamstring tear during City’s 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday and is set to be out for 2-3 weeks. The Belgian was replaced by Gabriel Jesus in the second half when the scoreline was 0-0 and is now a major down for his side’s trip to Liverpool next month.
This comes as a massive blow to Pep Guardiola’s men after City announced striker Sergio Aguero tested positive for COVID-1 and is going into self-isolation.
“After a close contact, I’ve been self-isolating and the latest test I took was positive for COVID 19. I had some symptoms and I’m following the doctor’s orders for recovery. Take care, everyone!,” he posted on his official Twitter account.
The Citizens will be facing Cheltenham Town in the fourth round of the FA Cup over the weekend.
