Masari inaugurates board of Technology and Management Institute

Masari has inaugurated a nine member Governing Board for the Katsina state Institute of Technology and Management.
The Board is under the chairmanship of Dr Dikko Suleiman DanAli.
Addressing the Board members shortly before inauguration, Governor Aminu Bello Masari explained that the importance of technology could not be overemphasized.
This,he said was why his administration upgraded the Department of Science and Technology to a full pledge Ministry.
He explained that technology had now become the train for the journey to development.
He expressed the hope that members of the board would do something tangible to outlive their tenure through bringing their wealth of knowledge to bear in handling the affairs of the institute.
He prayed Allah to guide them in handling their assignment.
Members include commissioner of science and technology, Zakari Mamman, Salisu continental Computers, permanent secretary for finance, representative of the Academic Board, Lubabatu sada sodangi among others.
In an acceptance speech, the chairman of the Governing Board, Dr Dikko Suleiman SNR appreciated the opportunity given to them to contribute towards technological development of the state.
He assured that they would do everything possible to put the institute on the map of the world.
