Former Super Eagles Captain John Mikel Obi featured for Stoke City in their pre-season friendly game with premier league new boys, Leeds United on Tuesday.
Mikel was on for more than an hour in the game and was the catalyst in the Potters’ midfield before he was substituted.
The Michael O’Neil’s boys won the game by three goals to nothing to make it back to back win in three days.
Nathan Collins put Stoke City ahead in the 24th minute when he beat the goalkeeper with a low drive shit from inside the area.
In the second half, Tom Ince set up Lee Gregory for the second goal in the 52nd minute.
Ince who is the son of former England international, Paul Ince scored the third goal six minutes later.
Mikel who also captained Stoke City in the game has now featured in two friendlies and scoring once.
