Ministry to partner private investors for adopt campaign

The much awaited Adopt Campaign of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is here and the event took place at the Civic Centre Victoria inland Lagos.
The initiative of the Ministry is part of plans to raise direct funds for athletes who will be representing the country in Tokyo 2020. According to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, the primary target is to give the Olympians a better preparation ahead of the Olympics.
Nigerian sprinters, the likes of Ese Brume, Divine Okorodudu, and a host of others will be in attendance at the Cocktail Dinner in Lagos come on Monday 16th December, 2019.
It will be an occasion where private investors and manufacturers of fast consuming products will make commitments as part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities, giving back to the society where their businesses have thrived over the years.
Special guests of honour at the occasion include Babajide Sanwo – Olu, Chairman House Committee on Sports Olumide Osoba and many other notable sports personalities.
Ex internationals Kanu Nwankwo, Daniel Amokachi, Austin Okocha, will be at the event as well as Chioma Ajunwa, a former Olympian and an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
