Residents of MI Wushishi community have decried over persistent activities of hoodlums and illegal miners within the area leading to attacks on the people unabated.
It was reliably gathered that on Tuesday, around two to three o’clock in the morning, the criminals were said to have carried out attacks from house to house where several people were injured including some private security guards.
An anonymous resident told our Correspondent in Minna that the armed men carted away many valuables to include; cash, cell phones, labtops, hipads, jewelries and provision among others.
It was further revealed that the hoodlums simultaneously attacked the residents from the first gate and second gate respectively unabated despite the presence of police outpost in the community.
Another resident, Ibrahim Hashimu in an interview said that the criminals threatened to come back in the nearest future, just like during their last attack where one of them was killed.
The community has appealed to governor Mohammed Umar Bago, the Commissioner of Police CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman other security outfits to come to their aide, provide surveillance to ensure the arrest of the perpetrators for prosecution in order to restore peace and stability in the community.
