MK Sports holds “Ote4Wealth” National Championship in Abuja to mark Otedola’s 60 birthday

As part of activities to mark the 60th birthday of Nigerian business mogul, Femi Otedola, Abuja based football administrator and Chief Executive Officer, CEO Water Football Club, Mr Nureni Makanjuola has announced a football tournament to celebrate the Nigerian achiever.

The 2022 “Ote4wealth” Nationa Football Championship will hold from 15th to 20th November, this year and winner will pocket one million naira cash prize. 

Mr Makanjulo, who is the founder of MK Sports, disclosed this in a media briefing on Thursday in Abuja during the unveiling of the tournament

Fondly called “MK”, Mr Makanjulo said he is Organising thee tournament to honour the Nigeria business tycoon despite never meeting him in life.

He noted that the plan to hold the Ote4Wealth Football Championship was a promise he made if God gives him the grace to reach the Golden Jubilee Anniversary.

“It has been my longtime dream and I have been putting him in my prayers that Almighty God should give him long life, prosperity and more wealth.

“I promised myself that if God can grant my request to him, clocking 60 years, I will celebrate him.

“He is a man I have never met in my life, but he is one of my idols, that I cherish and that gave birth to the “Ote4wealth” National Championship in Abuja.

“I want to use what I know best to celebrate whom I cherish so much and what I know and love to do is football business.

“That is why, we are organizing this National tournament where 36 teams and FCT will compete in the tournament.”

He revealed the prizes to be won to include: “we have a lot of fantastic prizes for the winner, the winner will smile home with 1million naira to send a signal that we are celebrating him.

“Also there will be individual prizes for the highest goal scorer, most valuable player, best goalkeeper amongst others,” he concluded.
